A new year can mean many things, but for most it’s a fresh start!
And one of the top things on that clean slate is “renewed fitness.”
Starting simple is the best way to assure success.
Our move today is a brisk walk. It’s truly one of the simplest and attainable moves for nearly all of us.
All you need is a clear path to get moving.
When getting started set a plan, whether it is a certain distance or a desired amount of time. And, of course, a safe place.
Your location could be your neighborhood, local park or gym. To assure accountability invite a friend to join in.
Make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes; something that fits well and has added support.
Then you are set to go. Find a good pace, and focus on your breathing and body posture.
A brisk walk is great for daily cardio and a perfect warmup for any other fitness routine.
The best part is a brisk walk is a perfect pick me up to reenergize your body and help establish a great fitness plan for 2021.
