Low-calorie fruits and vegetables with ample nutrition are considered negative calorie foods. High-fiber foods that are also low on the glycemic index keeps the stomach full and destroys hunger pangs simultaneously.

Broccoli 

Broccoli, with only 34 calories for every 100 grams, is the perfect vegetable choice for salads, soups and sandwiches. The cruciferous vegetable is filled with sufficient amounts of vitamins K and C, potassium and fiber. Most importantly, broccoli is an antioxidant that prevents the spread of free radicals. Berries, zucchini, apples, lettuce and cucumbers are other similar options. 

Celery

Celery juice is often marketed as a superfood. However, the plants and seeds provide only 16 calories for every serving of 100 grams, which is why celery is an appropriate recommendation for negative calorie foodstuff.  The benefits are aplenty since celery is a powerful source of antioxidants, aids digestion and also has a low glycemic index. The vegetable is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, particularly fiber, vitamins A and C and folate.  

Watermelon 

Every 100 grams of the fruit contains only 30 calories and filled with lycopene, vitamins A and C, magnesium and potassium. It also helps keep the body hydrated. The fruit is a great weight loss additive to any diet.  

Carrots 

One carrot contains about 30 calories. It is a rich source of vitamins K, A, and vitamin C, potassium and magnesium. Of them, vitamin A protects eye health and strengthens the immune system. 

Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain about 19 calories and are efficient antioxidants. Dietary fiber, potassium and vitamin C are nutrients that are available in the tomatoes.
